Merlin Precision Engineering prides itself on offering a fast and efficient service. All orders are usually dispatched the same day if received before 3:00pm UK time.

We aim to keep our postage and packaging costs as low as possible whilst offering multiple services to meet the needs of our customers. Our National services range from special same day delivery services to standard next day delivery and our International services can be delivered the next day when required to locations such as the USA and Europe subject to availability.

All orders can be tracked and traced using Fedex insight and If you provide Merlin with an email address you will be kept up to date with developments. Due to the fragile nature of our parts we pack all our items with the most care, parts such as Pincer Bars are packaged in secure steel crates and all orders are fully insured against loss or damage so our customers can order with confidence.

1. Merlin Precision Engineerings warranty will only cover manufacturer (Merlin) error.
2. Merlin Precision Engineerings warranty shall be limited to repair,replacement or exchange of the faulty product at our discretion. We will not be responsible for loss of production or downtime of the press or any associated costs of the repair. ie Engineer / Agency Labour Costs.
3. All parts covered by the 1 year warranty must be proven defective under ‘normal use’.
4. Any part deemed by the purchaser as defective must be returned to Merlin Precision Engineering Ltd Enabling us to carry out an examination of the part or parts to establish the cause of the defect. If the part or parts are found defective due to misuse Merlin reserves the right to refuse to repair,replace or exchange the part or parts.
5. Merlin will carry no responsibility for parts that are not correctly installed.
6. Parts should only be cleaned using the machines manufacturers recommended cleaning techniques. (as aggressive cleaning chemicals can damage urethane parts).
7. Merlin will not be held responsible for events or circumstances out of normal use and operation of the equipment. Examples include power surges, short circuits, loss of power, lightning, fire or water damage.
8. Merlin does not offer a warranty on Pincer gripper Bars (we can guarantee they will work when installed). But serviceability of the component is out of our hands and is critical.
9. Merlin cannot and will not accept responsibility for parts damaged during transit this will be covered under the couriers insurance when applicable. ( Merlin take considerable steps to ensure your parts are not damaged in transit).
10. Once the documents have been returned to Merlin you will receive acknowledgement that your warranty registration is complete. If you do not receive an acknowledgement from Merlin within 3 weeks of sending your warranty registration then please contact us. (It is recommended that you send your warranty registration via recorded postage for proof of delivery)
11. Merlin will make no warranty what so ever in regards to any accessories or parts not supplied by Merlin Precision Engineering.
12. Merlin will neither assume, nor authorize any person to assume for us in connection with the sale or sales of Merlin Precision Engineerings products.
13. Merlins 12 month warranty covers the press doing 1 shift per day. If the press is operated by 2 shifts per day the warranty will be 6 month and so forth.
14. All parts of the Warranty Registration Form (page 1 & 2) ‘Must’ be completed, failure to do so will result in the warranty been void.
15. Merlin Precision Engineering warranty only applies to the part or parts original purchaser.
